Synopsis
Beyond the icy peaks of the soaring Himalaya lies the bleak and wind-torn Mustang area of Nepal where the Kali, or black, Gandaki river flows southward. On its flanks are places of ancient pilgrimage, steeped in mythology and its bed still carries the ammonite fossils to remind us that this was once a part of the Tethys Sea. This book is a small tribute to the magic of Nepal.
